COURSE SCHEDULE

SGPITI offers training in the following different craftsmen training trades for admission.

ELECTRICIAN – DURATION OF COURSE 4 SEMESTERS(2 YEARS) – QUALIFICATION CLASS X QULIFIED – Intake capacity 2 units (1+1+1)(1+1+1)= 60 Seats Yearly

FITTER – DURATION OF COURSE 4 SEMESTERS(2 YEARS) – QUALIFICATION CLASS X QULIFIED – intake capacity 2 units (1+1+1)(1+1+1)= 60 Seats Yearly

WELDER – DURATION OF COURSE 1 YEARS – QUALIFICATION CLASS X QULIFIED – intake capacity 1 units (1+1+1)= 60 Seats Yearly

Electrician

ITI Electrician is a 2-year course, approved by the NCVT ( National Council Vocational Training ). ITI electrician course is a tradesman specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, transmission lines, stationary machines, and related equipment.

Fitter

ITI Fitter is a 2-year course approved by the NCVT ( National Council for Vocational Training ). In this course, the candidates will be able to get the knowledge about fittings like Pipe fittings, Machine fitting, and structure fittings.

Welder

ITI welder is a 1 Year course approved by NCVT (National Counsil for vocational training). In this course, a candidate is trained on subjects professional skill, professional knowledge, Engineering drawings, workshop science & calculation and Emploability skill related to job role.

TRAINING CURRICULUM

The institute maintains a rigid training standred as prescribed in the training Manual issued by DGET , New Delhi . During the Training period , regular monthly test are conducted to evaluate the performances of the trainees, (in order to bring the poor standard to an average level , extra efforts are made by conducting special classes. As a result of this ,performance of the trainees are upgraded and improved. Special skill development training and workshop are organized to improve the candidates skill which help them in their placement.

INDUSTRIAL TOUR

The institute arrange industrial tour for the students which help them to get practical exposure in respective field and gain practical knowledge effectively and participate meaningfully with rapid changing machineries and equipment.

SEMINAR AND WORKSHOPS

SGPITI conducts seminars, symposium and workshops to craet general awareness among students regarding modern pedagogy on working of modern industries by inviting eminent Engineers , professionals from established industries and Govt. sectors .
